At the time of the Polish People’s Republic, Stanisław Lem described in his books the tools and inventions we now call the Internet, Google search engine, e-books, tablets and 3D printing. To what extent are the predictions made half a century ago by the patron of the year 2021 appropriate to describe the contemporary reality?
We have invited one of the most important Polish writers – Dorota Masłowska, along with Aleksandra Przegalińska – a philosopher and futurologist specializing in research on the development of artificial intelligence, to take a fresh look at the books by the author of Solaris. What will the outcomes of this encounter be?
