Colours in Kaballah: See The Lights Through The Prism

We will review the meaning of colours according to Kabbalah, a trend in Jewish mysticism. We will try to understand the meaning of each colour as a representation of Sephirah or a world. We will learn what Rabbi Joseph ben Abraham Gikatilla thought about the splitting of light into different shades: Does the Divine Light emanate as uniform white light and separate into different colours, or does it emanate as infinitely different shades and only look like uniform white light to us? What did Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai see when he looked at the colours of the rainbow in the sky? How could Rabbi Yitzchak Saggi Nehor (aka Isaac the Blind as he was blind from birth) give sound representations to colours, even though he could not see them with his eyes?
